Retreat
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend break, am happy to be bouncing back to good health. Isn't it funny how you appreciate your life more after being sick? I always value the little things more, like going for a walk without being exhausted after 2 mins, bike riding, and even just breathing better with a clear nose! I must admit that there are some perks to being poorly, and one of them is the amount of reading that gets done. Whilst on my "readathon" over the weekend, I came across this beautiful barn renovation on Elle decor, and knew instantly that I had to share.

Midnight Soak
Work has been a little hectic lately, I went from a 1am to a 5am finish within a space of a week! The only upside to this style of living is that you don't have to worry about getting in shape for the summer. Skipping dinner every night tends to handle that side of things for you. However if I could have one wish, it would be for one of these stellar bathrooms, they are so beautiful and the baths look so cozy that I could soak in them all night long. A perfect retreat after a hard day don't you think?

Book Review
I bought this book last month when I was in London, and I have not being able to put it down. The author Sally Coulthard beautifully captures the essence of shed living. She gives a variety of examples of how these spaces can be used, whether as an artist studio, a garden retreat, or even a doctors surgery. There are lots of decorating tips, planning advice, and even an index of suppliers. I would highly recommend this book, especially to those people contemplating having a home office. It is the kind of coffee table book that you actually read time and time again.
