Splash of colour

My darlings, apologies for my absence yesterday. It's been a little hectic since I moved back. Yesterday, I decided I had had enough of living out of my suitcases, so I spent all day unpacking and cleaning, making space for all the new stuff I brought over from Venice. After a day and a half, it's all done! It feels so good to be settled again.

The London sky is so grey today, I'm in urgent need of some colour therapy. Wanna join me :)

The double height space is simply stunning! Not too sure about the seating though.
I love the way bold colours are used to break up the white.
Perhaps it's due to my architectural training, but a lot of the time when I look at spaces, especially residential ones (my favourite), I often ignore the decor (because that is easy to change), and judge the potential of the spatial layout. This house for example is spatially stunning, very modern and contemporary, I even like the colour scheme, however the choice of furnishes is a let down. It's all a little too office like for me.What do you guys think? Agree or disagree, I would love to know.
Before I forget, there is one more good thing about it, 90% of the materials used, are eco friendly.

I came across this chair, which I knew I had to share. (ooh...that rhymed!)

Gorgeous, right?

This chandelier, I love!
So simple, yet bold and beautiful.

I'd put this lovely chair in a space where visitors will look & admire it, not to sit on it

  2. Too right Zanele, a chair this good, should only be admired and never used! :)
